Lost in the Words was founded from a passion for creative writing and marketing combined. My story began with a desire to help brands tell their story and to do that content is key.

My name is Melissa Devlin, based in Co. Down, Northern Ireland. I am Lost in the Words. I have worked creatively in many sectors and across many disciplines. I began my fledgling career in editorial, moved through journalism until I found my niche with marketing. It was the fast paced content and meaningful conversations online that inspired me. I’m now a full time Content Marketer and am a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, with a Level 4 in Marketing, specialising in Digital Marketing.

Over the last number of years I’ve had the opportunity to work within a variety of companies from corporate marketing to small digital agencies; all the while gaining in-depth knowledge and insights to a variety of industries, such as engineering, recruitment, travel, transport and advertising.

Lost in the Words provides a full spectrum of marketing services, but they all focus around telling your brand story. After all, it is only when your target audience understands exactly what you do, that they can invest. How do you do that? With meaningful content.
